An evocative study of a gypsy encampment comprising two brightly coloured caravans, a cart & a small outbuilding.  Two men are working whilst a figure watches on from the furthest caravan.  Lovely undamaged & vibrant condition.  Original, superbly patinated period frame supplied ‘John Bryce Smith’ of Hampstead London (Royal Academy of Arts) 1883-1921.
