Medium Sized Antique Mahogany Cash Block

£75.00
Sold Out

A great unusual example of probable circa late 19th or early 20th century antiquity which was most likely part of a cash till or drawer in a shop initially (see indentation to side). Featuring four symmetrical recesses, these pieces make ideal decorative tidies for all manner of small easily mislaid – most notably keys but also jewellery! Also, very useful for coins (if still a part of your lifestyle?!). Most attractive deep red colour and well patinated surface derived from repeated contact with many hands and coins over probably 100 years or so! A really tactile decorative object!

Dimensions (L, W & H): 22x14x7.5 cm

Postage included. Royal Mail Special Delivery with appropriate insurance to at least the value of the item.
