This is a unique, very heavy, cast-iron Cockerel WeatherVane that must have been part of a sizable composite structure originally. The original pale blue, greyish original paint is most unusual & combines with the imposing figure of the Cockerel to great effect. It displays most effectively & a small, discrete wooden support is provided to prop the piece to a horizontal position if desired.
