Stunning 18th century or perhaps even earlier piece. Fantastic carving, deep brown colour & amazing patination. It has been altered & tweaked over time, for example the rush seat is a later vintage replacement, but the majority of wooden pegs & frame appear totally authentic. Charming slightly wonky back! The stories it could tell!
