This is a lovely example in mahogany which still displays some fine circular detailing to the base and both a lovely, aged colour and patination. Probably Victorian. The item has been extensively used and shows some minor signs of wear to the rim – all of which in our view adds charm and authenticity to the piece. Both decorative and still fit for its original purpose.
