Thought to be circa late 19th or early 20th century these interesting bellows seem likely to have had a portable military origin, perhaps being used (see protruding nozzle) for inflating a bed mattress? The wood, leather and canvas components have an authentic timeworn patination, and all combine to produce an item that still functions as originally intended - and could be used today for helping to start a small open fire if desired! A talking point!
