19th Century Shepherdess & Shepherd Silk Embroidery

£75.00

A pastoral winter scene which has been very skilfully stitched indeed. The piece has a Dutch feel and remains within its original ebonised frame. The embroidery is in superb overall condition and its still vibrant colours are especially worthy of note. There is a small dink to the frame which in our view does not detract from the overall charm of the piece and serves to add to its air of antiquity.

Dimensions (Diameter): 17cm

Ref: FGA11
